I'm not sure how many hours I've spent working on Cereus & Limnic over the years, but it's been a lot. 🕑

Writing the book (Estimate: 365 hrs) - That's half a year of writing.

Producing the 2 podcasts (Estimate: 100 hrs) - That's about my game time in Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild.

Composing the music (Estimate: 60 hrs) - The length of a typical weekend.

Making marketing assets (Estimate: 90 hrs) - The time it would take to watch all mainline Star Wars movies 3 times.

I've done it all solo with little financial reward 😭

The fact is creation costs money.

And while I value other forms of capital greatly (your attention and time investment are precious ❤️) traditional money is still very important for practical reasons.

That's why I set up this FutureFlight Fund. To help me worry less about running my air conditioning during the summer so my wife doesn't get mad at me. 🥵 And to bring you more higher quality creations to enjoy.

In my day job, I'm a substitute teacher so little things like someone remembering my name or having an uninterrupted 21-minute lunch go a long way with me.
